Important Details
Passport validity is calculated from your departure date from Singapore, not your arrival date. If you arrive on 1st June and your passport expires on 25th November, you have exactly 6 months validity and Singapore will deny you entry. The safe minimum is 6 months plus 1 week, and we recommend 8 months or more.
The ICA photograph requirement is one of the most precisely specified in the world. The photograph must be 35mm wide by 45mm tall, taken on a plain white background with no shadows, on matte or semi-matte paper, with your face occupying at least 80% of the frame. Digital photos from smartphones are not acceptable unless printed by a professional photo studio. Even a slightly off-white background or a photo where your face is at an angle will cause an automatic rejection.
If you are a salaried employee, your No Objection Certificate (NOC) must be printed on your company's letterhead, signed by an authorized signatory, and dated within 30 days of the application date. An undated NOC, an NOC without a company stamp, or an NOC signed by the applicant themselves is invalid and will result in rejection.
